SPECIAL RECRUITMENT DRIVE FOR PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED
Applications are invited from the Persons with Disabilities(Orthopedic/Hearing & Visually Impaired) for the posts of Lower Division Clerk. The norms are as follows :
Lower Division Clerk (03 posts):
H.S.C. plus Certificate Course in Computer Application from a recognised institute. Preference will be given to graduates. Candidate should have minimum one year clerical work experience.
The percentage of disabilities is given below:

For Locomotor Disability or Cerebral Palsy |
minimum 40% of physical defect or deformity. |
| b) |
For Blindness or Low Vision |
Visual acuity not exceeding 6/60 or 20/200 (Snellen) in the better eye with correcting lenses. |
| c) |
For Hearing Impaired |
Hearing loss more than 60 decibels in the better ear (profound impairment) or total loss of hearing in both ears. |
Candidates are required to produce Physical Disability Certificate issued by the Competent Authorities.

The age will be reckoned as on 31.07.2009. Age may be relaxable in cases of exceptional merit and qualifications and also for departmental candidates.
In addition to pay other allowances as admissible under Central Government Rules. The Institution has an option either to offer scale of pay as mentioned above or consolidated pay for a fixed term contract basis to the selected candidates. On the recommendation of the Selection Committee, candidates may be offered a higher or lower grade than advertised depending on the qualifications, experience and performance in the interview and needs in respective Dept.
Appointed candidates may be placed as per needs of the Departments in the Tata Memorial Hospital and /or ACTREC at Navi Mumbai.
