The Medical Social Workers are trained and experienced in helping people with emotional and practical problems caused by this illness. If, at any time, your disease or treatment is causing you or your family, additional distress or hardship, please call at the Social Work Department or ask one of the ward staff to contact them on your behalf.

We also help and advise you on community supports, self-help groups, charitable organizations and funds that can help patients and their families to cope with cancer. Their office issues concession forms for Railway, Road and Air transport for cancer patients.

The Medical Social Work Department is situated in the Golden jubilee block.
