 HISTOPATHOLOGY & CYTOLOGY TECHNICIANS TRAINING COURSE FOR ONE YEAR COMMENCING FROM 01.01.2009 TO 31.12.2009.

Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH) announces a training course for technicians in histotechnology, gynaec and non gynaec cytotechnology, immunohistochemistry, clinical pathology and biochemistry.

Selected candidates will be assigned to any one of the above subsections of laboratory procedures as per requirement and In house examinations will be held periodically and certificates will be awarded to successful candidates on completion of the course in the speciality area.

No Course fees will be charged for Non-Sponsored candidates.  Out station candidates may be provided hostel accommodation @ Rs.300/- p.m. during their training period subject to the availability of accommodation.  A Sum of Rs.1000/- p.m. (approx) will be charged towards diet charges, for which a sum of Rs.2400/- to be paid as a diet deposit.  A sum of Rs.250/- p.m. will be charged towards transportation.

Eligible candidates may send their application in the proforma given below alongwith a recent passport size photograph affixed on right hand top corner with attested copies of educational qualifications, age, experience certificates and also, a non refundable Demand Draft of Rs.60/- (Rs.15/- for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai, on or before 29.11.2008  to H.R.D. During the period of training, the Trainee shall not apply for any post or any other courses/ P.G. studies / Scholarship or appear for any examination or interview outside

Any trainee leaving or remaining absent from the training before completion of this course will have to refund the amount of stipend together with interest thereon as per the rates, as may be fixed by the hospital.  Those candidates who are found below expected standards with consistent poor performance in studies will be terminated from the training course.

Late & incomplete applications are liable to be rejected.  No correspondence of any kind will be entertained.

Tata Memorial Hospital reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualification and marks.  Merely fulfilling the prescribed qualifications will not entitle an applicant to be called for the interview.  Tata Memorial Hospital also reserves the right to reject any or all the application without assigning any reason thereof.
